Itinerary:

Day One 1

◎ Airport Pick Up

We will receive you upon your Arrival in Yellowknife Airport. Meet & Greet at the Airport and a brief explanation of your Itinerary.

◎Yellowknife City Tour

Explore the beautiful city of Yellowknife! Our friendly tour guide will provide an interpretation during the city tour. You will visit Prince of Wales museum, NWT Diamond Center, have a scenic drive through downtown, Old Town and visit Pilot’s monument where you can overlook the city of Yellowknife. Experience standing on top of frozen Great Slave lake and see Ice Castle!

◎Check In to your Hotel

We will transfer to your Hotel after the City Tour and our Guide will assist you in Check In to your Hotel.

Night Tour
◎Aurora Viewing – Aboriginal Village

Drive from Yellowknife City to Dettah (Dene Community) on the hwy & a five minutes Tobaggon sled ride behind the skidoo to Aboriginal village. Spend 4 hrs on the shore line of frozen Great Slave lake with wood stove cabin viewing the spectacular Northern Lights.  Authentic northern snacks & hot beverages will be served. Local’s will Share Dene way of life through history, drumming & Singing.

Day Two 2

◎Dog Sledding (Optional)

A fun Winter Activity! 

Meet a team of friendly dogs. Feel the energy of your dog team while they pull you through snow filled trails in between of a fresh and beautiful nature. Feel free to click pictures with your dog team !

 
◎Afternoon at your Leisure
Afternoon is at your leisure. Feel free to explore more of Yellowknife and if you need assistance we will be happy to assist you.
 
Night Tour
◎Aurora by Bus Tour

Wonderful and amazing experience while going through famous Ingraham trail. There are plenty of lakes and breathtakingly beautiful landscapes on the Ingraham trail for you to see, experience & enjoy the wonderful tour with beautiful pictures. Each lake has different landscape which gives you an opportunity to have a different background in your pictures while posing with amazing aurora lights show. You will also be served with warm beverages and cookies during your tour to keep you warm and comfortable. Yellowknife Vacations staff will make sure we click plenty of pictures for you to have a lifetime memory.

Day Three 3

◎Ice Fishing ( Optional )

The Northern style Fishing! 

Adventurous tour which makes you experience fishing through a frozen lake surface, enjoy a fishmeal in your tour. You will have a chance to interact with an experienced fisherman and knowing all about fish catching techniques.

Night Tour
◎Rainbow Village Aurora

Welcome to an amazing Aurora show!

Watch the beautiful aurora in the small wooden houses which are used for ice fishing in the day time and for aurora viewing in the night. Cozy warm feeling while aurora gazing above in the skies. Experience the beautiful view of great slave lake with warm beverages. Aurora lights, beautiful Landscape all together makes a perfect fusion for the beautiful and memorable pictures for lifetime memories.

Day Four 4

◎Transfer to Yellowknife Airport

When you are ready to depart Yellowknife with a wonderful experience! Yellowknife Vacations guide will assist you in your transportation to the airport. Thank you for choosing Yellowknife Vacations and we hope to see you again!
